How to read this result
These notes explain what the check is showing, where the data comes from and what the main blind spots are.
The public address
The IP the domain resolves to from the checker's vantage point — the same answer any public resolver gets. It is one address, not the whole truth about where a site lives.
CDN edge vs origin
Behind a CDN, the IP, location and provider describe the edge node, not the origin server. The sheet says so instead of presenting a Cloudflare node as the host.
ASN — who to call
The autonomous system number names the network that operates the address. It answers the 'who do we even call' question when a site is down and the owner has long moved on.
Location
Country and city come from the IP's registered geolocation. It is approximate by nature and meaningless behind a CDN — useful for 'is this really hosted where we think', nothing more.
